our annual drive to chicago has come and gone. all said and done it was awesome but the craziness…there just aren’t words. we went to blackberry farm, cosley zoo, kiddieland, chuck e cheese, and brookfield zoo. we also got to see our great friends the elgans who came up from normal to see us! i am goign to write about the trip on my other blog, but here are the photos.

camp merryelande 2007 was absolutely a blast. a week at the beach…not relaxing, but just really fun. almost all of the family was there for sand and reading and chasing after crazy children. each picture is linked to a different album so feel free to browse if you want to!
aquariums and zoos

we spent a few days looking at lots of animals. the alders went with us to the balitmore aquarium and we had a huge crowd of family from both sides joined us at the national zoo.

emma was ecstatic when the boys pulled out the trampoline and she got to jump around like a madwoman. she also got a little tired there towards the end of the day and fell asleep at the table. it was great for all of us to be together.
seaworld

we decided sort of last minute to go to seaworld instead of doing another day at the magic kingdom. thanks to anhieser-busch, military families get into one of their parks free every year and it seemed the perfect time to take advantage of it. the shows were amazing and emma spent hours in “shamu’s happy harbor” playing around on all kinds of other stuff.

instead of going to a park today, we went to the disney marketplace and took a swim in the pool. we also got to see my great friend regan and her baby.

the magic kingdom was fantastic! the kid were supercute and we only had minor traumas. i posted a big blog post about this on my blog and well, it’s like a month later than ‘im posting this so anyway.
Clark Park

Our first full day together! We drove all around town to find a park and ended up at a nature center by accident. It was lovely though…Emma got to dance around on a stage and we got to relax.
